Dr. Michael Fiske, Founder & CEO. Over the past ten years, Michael has invented and implemented algorithms pertaining to encrypted executable code, code obfuscation, cryptography, signature recognition, fingerprint recognition, and machine learning. Michael is the inventor on all seventeen Biogy patent applications. In particular, he is the inventor of the one-time-passcode generator security system, as well as secure biometric encryption keys, where each key is uniquely derived from a fingerprint or other biometric. He also developed a method for securing PINS, cryptography keys, passwords without storing them on the system. Michael completed a B.S. from Stanford University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa; studied in one of the top artificial intelligence labs in the world; and completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Northwestern University.

Dr. Waleed (Lee) Haddad, CTO. Lee is an innovator in biometrics, optics and image processing. He was formerly a VP of Biometrics at Pay-by-Touch. Dr. Haddad has a B.S from the University of Illinois at Chicago, M.S. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has worked for Pay-by-Touch, XRadia and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He has over 20 publications and 10 patents in the following areas: research imaging systems, image reconstruction, high resolution imaging, image processing, computer simulations, numerical modeling, tomography, holography, x-ray imaging, biomedical devices, biometrics, 2-D and 3-D imaging, optics, lasers, microwave devices, ultrasound imaging, optical microscopy, x-ray microscopy.

Martin Quiroga, Chief Architect. Martin is an expert on network security systems, with over nine years of experience in information security. He has patents granted in both network security and natural language processing. He earned his B.A. and M.Arch in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. Martin is Biogy’s system architect for the identity authentication system. Along with Dr. Fiske, Mr. Quiroga was recently invited to speak at the NSA / DoD Identity Managment and Protection Conference, on Ten Requirements for Securing Transactions Across an Insecure Internet. Martin worked extensively in software architecture and product management roles at nCircle Network Security and Foundstone, Inc. His patented designs and product direction brought to market, nCircle’s IP360 one of the most trusted products in the network security space.

Alexander Barangan, Director, Product Engineering. Over the past 10 years in industry, Alex has designed and contributed to several commercial software and hardware products. His expertise in systems ranges from data-centric web-based applications to low-power, hand-held devices.  At Biogy, Alex manages the design and manufacture process of all devices including the Personal Data Vault. This includes firmware development, hardware design for manufacturability, and user interface design. Alex has played a critical role in bringing Biogy to its current stage of engineering development. Furthermore, Alex, along with Dr. Fiske, is a joint inventor of a patent pending that pertains to Biogy’s online vault that securely backs up data on the Personal Vault. Alex earned his Masters in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Cruz.
